While Microsoft has said from the start, that WM7 will not be available as an upgrade for the HTC HD2, because it has too many buttons for what they wanted to achieve, but rumors on the internet say otherwise.

For me, i hope its true. Several sources on the net are reporting that Microsoft might be changing there mind, especially after there has been several successful ports of the new mobile OS to the HD2.
Microsoft are also being criticized for the look of the new OS, but applauded for its functionality. And i have to agree, while there are some major improvements over WM6.5, the look and feel of the new OS leaves allot to be desired. And this is where the hackers come to the rescue, already there are several themes available for the OS and i must say, that they look pretty good.
